These terms are an agreement between you and [OWNER NAME] (“we”) for the JOV Office app and this website. By creating an account or using JOV Office, you agree to them.
Your account
You need an account to use JOV Office’s editing features. Use a real email address and keep your password safe; you’re responsible for what happens with your account. An account is for one person.
Free trial
A new account gets a 7-day free trial that starts the first time you sign in to the app on a Mac. There’s one free trial per Mac: if a Mac was already used for a trial, a new account on it starts without one.
Subscriptions and payment
After the trial, editing and creating documents needs a subscription. It’s billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe, and renews automatically until you cancel. Taxes may apply where you live.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time in Manage Billing. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and isn’t renewed after that. We don’t refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
If a payment fails
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and editing keeps working for a short grace period. If the payment still doesn’t go through, the app opens your files in View Mode until it does. You can update your payment method in Manage Billing on your account page.
Your files stay yours
Your documents belong to you. Without an active trial or subscription you can still open, read, print and export your files to PDF, and a document you’re already editing can still be saved.
Fair use
Don’t try to get around the app’s sign-in or subscription checks, share your account, or resell JOV Office. Don’t reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
Changes to prices and terms
We may change prices for future billing periods; we’ll tell you by email before a change applies to you. If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll tell you by email too.
No warranty
JOV Office is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep your files safe, but no software is perfect: keep backups of important documents.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using JOV Office and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
