Questions
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. JOV Office opens and saves your files on your Mac. Online, it only signs you in and checks your subscription: it sends your email, a one-way coded identifier for your Mac (so each Mac gets one free trial) and the app version.
What happens when the trial ends?
You can still open, read, print and export your files to PDF. To edit or create documents, subscribe monthly or yearly.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, in Manage Billing on your account page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Do I need Microsoft Office?
No. JOV Office reads and writes these file formats on its own.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple silicon or an Intel processor, running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
